Expectations VS Reality

Story of My Life As most probably know, doctors start living the good life late in life. When we start earning our own money, we get so excited that we spend it all on whatever whimsical things we can think of. Worse, we have so little time that we tend to spend our hard earned salary on the first thing that we can think without thought of how it will add value to our lives. Gadgets. Clothes peddled by relatives. I remember the first time I started earning. I had just ended a 36-hour shift, hungry, tired, and a little lonely. I went to the mall, ate my heart out, and bought all things that I thought would help ease my next 36 hour duty: new rubber shoes, belt bag, ballpens, etc., etc. I did this without a thought of how I came into that money. I forgot all the sleepless nights, the tears, the frustrations, and everything in between that I had to go through before I earned that money.
